    Wesley Snipes is currently serving a 3-year sentence for failure to complete tax returns. The actor did not file returns from 1999-2004, and may be required to pay upwards of 13 million in back taxes.

    Lil Wayne- According to The Detroit News, Florida court records say that the IRS filed a 1.13 million tax lien against the rapper. Apparently, he owes taxes from 2004, 2005 and 2007. This is not the first time this has happened either, in 2008 he paid off a tax debt of $977,840.

    Khloe Kardashian- According to TMZ, Khloe owes $18,490.74 to the Golden State. Allegedly it is all from 2007, the same year that "Keeping Up With The Kardashian's" launched. Guess she should have "kept up with her taxes."

    In January 2008, the IRS in LA filed two liens against Philly rapper Eve, one for $242,245 and another for $56,597. In January 2009, that same branch filed two additional liens against Eve, one for $29,439 and other for $29,059

    In March 2010, Shannen Doherty was slapped with a $44,064.58 tax lien by the state of California.

    In July 2009, the Detroit News reported the state of California filed a $3,594,409 lien against Chris Tucker for four years of unpaid taxes.

    In 1974, Richard Pryor served 10 days in a California jail for tax evasion. Pryor allegedly said the reason why he didn't pay his taxes was because he forgot.

    In 1989, the late "Queen of Mean" was convicted of tax evasion relating to renovations she and her husband were making on their $11 million estate. During testimony, Leona Helmsley's maid quoted her as saying "We don't pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes," an allegation she would later deny.

    Daryl Strawberry was convicted of the tax charges in 1995 and ordered to pay back more than $450,000 in back taxes. Allegedly, he didn't. The government sued again, and in February of this year, Strawberry was ordered to pay the more than $430,000 he still owes for not having given the government the money they were due.

Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said Anthony failed to file returns from 2000 – 2004, a period when he earned $15.5 million. Anthony was never charged with a crime, but two of his associates pleaded guilty to tax felonies.

    In May 2009, it was reported Mike Tyson's ex-wife, Robin Givens, was in financial distress with the IRS that goes back to 1996. She allegedly owed $292k.

    In 2007, $50 million music mogul Damon Dash was handed a bill for more than $2 million by the state of New York according to The New York Post.

    Famous photographer Annie Leibovitz was accused of owing $135,916 in back taxes to the state of New York according to The New York Post.

    In March 2010, it was reported on January 7th the IRS filed a lien against Morris Chestnut and his wife for $215,800. However, Chestnut is disputing that amount and according to the Detroit News he was advised by his money manager against paying his debt until the issue is resolved.

    In April 2007, Joe Francis and his companies were indicted by a federal grand jury on two counts of tax evasion. Federal prosecutors allege the companies claimed more than $20 million in phony deductions in those years, and that Francis used offshore accounts to conceal income.
