Poise. Grace. Class. All of these are words that describe Beyonce Knowles during her press conference for Super Bowl XLVII.

Before anyone could ask her questions, she took the stage and asked members of the media to stand.  She then went into a stunning rendition of the national anthem presumably to quiet those that were critical of her lip-synching at the presidential inauguration just a few weeks ago.

When the song was over, the press applauded and the 31-year-old singer resumed the conference, answering questions with a coy smile.

"Well, I am a perfectionist and, one thing about me, I practice until my feet bleed. I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra. It was a live television show and a very very important emotional show for me, one of my proudest moments. Due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking a risk. It was about the President and the Inauguration, and I wanted to make him and my country proud. So I decided to sing along with my pre-recorded track, which is very common in the music industry and I’m very proud of my performance" Beyonce said.

She went on to add that she will indeed be performing live at halftime during Super Bowl XLVII, despite the fact that previous performers Madonna and Black Eyed Peas had attempted live shows and were criticized for their shows.

As to whether or not her former band members of Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland, Beyonce replied "I can't tell you that."  Rumors around Radio Row are that a Destiny's Child reunion will take place and Beyonce will announce some sort of tour on Sunday.
