Slash is on board for the Recording Academy's MusiCares MAP Fund benefit.  He's among the performers for the upcoming event.  Linkin Park's Chester Bennington will be honored at the event with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award, in recognition of his support for the organization as well as his efforts to help recovering addicts with their sobriety.

Bennington will also perform at the fundraiser, along with Ida Maria, the Chicken Noodle Project, and Early Morning Rebel.

Red Hot Chili Peppers frontman Anthony Kiedis is on board as a presenter.  Skateboarding great Tony Alva will also be honored at the event.
