Rick Springfield explains his first novel

Rick Springfield is officially a fiction writer with the publication of his first novel.  The rocker tells "Good Morning America" that Magnificent Vibration tells the story of a 32-year-old man who's going through a personal crisis.  

Springfield is promoting his book with a number of TV appearances and in-store events.  On Tuesday he'll be featured on the syndicated "Live with Kelly and Michael."  He'll also be a guest on Fox News' "Fox & Friends" on Wednesday. This week Rick is also taping an episode of "The Chew," which has a tentative air date of May 19th.  "Magnificent Vibration" will be available Tuesday. 

Springfield will make a release day appearance at Bookends in Ridgewood, New Jersey.  He'll wrap up his book tour in Tempe, Arizona on May 16th.
