Mick Jagger continues to honor his late girlfriend, fashion designer L'Wren Scott.  UsMagazine.com says the rock legend was among the many celebrity participants in a memorial service for Scott Friday afternoon in New York City.

The Rolling Stones frontman shared his admiration as well as some memories of L'Wren, including a story of how little she knew of his band's music.  Mick also sang a moving rendition of Bob Dylan's "Just Like A Woman," telling those on hand it was L'Wren's favorite.

Actresses Sarah Jessica Parker and Ellen Barkin were some of the other speakers at the ceremony.  One of Jagger's son and two of his grandchildren also contributed to the memorial.

Stones members Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood were in attendance, along with Meg Ryan, Martin Scorsese, and others.  A private reception followed the service.

L'Wren died at the age of 49, taking her own life in her New York City apartment on March 17th.  Her funeral was held in Los Angeles eight days later.  She and Jagger had been a couple for 13 years.
