The Internet is abuzz with rumors that Joan Jett will be leading a Nirvana performance at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony this week.

The speculation started when a photo of two guitars, a bass, and a set of drums appeared on the Foo Fighters' Facebook page.  The pic didn't come with a caption, but fans were quick to point out that one of the guitars looks a lot like Jett's.

The other instruments have also been linked to former Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, as well as touring member and Foo Fighters guitarist Pat Smear.

Grohl and Novoselic have already said they'll be at the Brooklyn ceremony on Thursday, and are also scheduled to appear on NBC's "Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" on Wednesday.

The Rock Hall, meanwhile, has been quiet about the details surrounding the Nirvana tribute.  But CEO Joel Peresman recently told Rolling Stone that all of this year's inductees will be performing minus Kiss and Linda Ronstadt.
