In His Words: Gary Clark Jr.

Listen to Gary Clark Jr. on iHeartRadio

Up and coming blues-rock singer/songwriter/guitarist Gary Clark Jr. can count Eric Clapton, Alicia Keys and even President Obama among his growing group of fans. The Austin, Texas standout first picked up a guitar when he was 12. Now, at 28, he has given hope to blues-guitar aficionados that the future is not only about Auto-Tune and dance beats with his major label debut, Blak and Blu.

Recently hailed 'guitar-rock's latest savior' (LA Times), a 'full-fledged guitar hero of the classic school' (Rolling Stone), and compared to Jimi Hendrix (Austin Chronicle), Gary Clark Jr. is going to be around for a while, so you should probably take a listen.
