Bob Dylan just might turn out for this fall's Country Music Association Awards.

The legendary folk-rocker is a first-time nominee at this year's event courtesy of Darius Rucker's hit "Wagon Wheel."

Dylan wrote the framework of the song back in the early '70s, and Old Crow Medicine Show's Ketch Secor finished the track three decades later.

Rucker's recent success with the tune earned it a bid for Song of the Year, which is a songwriter's award.  Rucker tells CMT Radio he's talking with Dylan's people about getting Dylan to the ceremony.  He says his "dream would be to get up there and sing that song with Ketch and Dylan," but he admits he doesn't know "what's gonna happen with that."

The 47th annual CMA Awards will be presented in a ceremony in Nashville on November 6th, and air on ABC.
