Bob Seger's new album is coming this fall. The rocker will release Ride Out, his follow up to 2006's Face The Promise, on October 14th.
Bob says he's happy with the disc. He explains that the material "sums up a lot of feelings" he has about personal and current social issues. Seger is also confident he's tapped the viewpoint of his audience. He says the songs reflect how "we appreciate things as simple and pure as love, to navigating through the corruption and violence that permeates the news."
Bob has unveiled one track from the album, a cover of John Hiatt's "Detroit Made." Fans who saw Seger in concert last year might be familiar with two other songs as well. Bob played the tracks "All of the Roads" and "California Stars" on his 2013 tour.
