Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong is lending his talents to an upcoming benefit concert led by Sammy Hagar and Metallica's James Hetfield.  They're all set to play acoustic sets at the inaugural Acoustic-4-a-Cure, which benefits the Pediatric Cancer Program at the UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital.

In addition to Hagar, Hetfield, and Armstrong, the all-star event will also include performances from Train's Pat Monahan, Joe Satriani, Scott Mathews, and Heart's Nancy Wilson.

Acoustic-4-a-Cure will take place May 15th at the Fillmore in San Francisco.
