Obama To Honor Sandy Hook Victims Today

President Obama honors six women who were killed in the deadly shooting spree in Newtown, Connecticut today.  The educators worked at the Sandy Hook Elementary School. The posthumous honors are part of a broader ceremony at the White House this morning. 

President Obama will hand out 18 Presidential Citizens Medals to a list of distinguished individuals. The President will present medals to the families of Sandy Hook principal Dawn Hochsprung, school psychologist Mary Sherlach and teachers Lauren Rousseau, Victoria Soto, Rachel Davino and Anne Marie Murphy.

Twenty young children and the six adult educators were killed in the Sandy Hook attack.
