Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson team up for Honda Civic outdoor tour

Maroon 5 and Kelly Clarkson are teaming up for a summer tour.  Adam Levine shared the news Monday in a video message. 
         
For the 2013 Honda Civic tour, the Grammy-winning artists will be hitting outdoor venues in 31 cities across the country.  It kicks off on August 1st in St. Louis and will run until October 5th.  Maroon 5 is the headliner, with Clarkson serving as a "special guest" on all of the dates. 

Opening acts include PJ Morton, Maroon 5's keyboardist; Tony Lucca, Adam's final contestant on season two of "The Voice," and San Francisco singer-songerwriter Rozzi Crane, who also joined the band on their "Overexposed" tour, which ends later this week.  General tickets for the 2013 Honda Civic tour go on sale on Saturday, April 6th.
