Bruno Mars has scored his first number one album with Unorthodox Jukebox.  The singer's sophomore album jumped to the top spot on the Billboard 200 this week, selling 95-thousand copies, during its 12th week on the chart.

The sales spike was due in large part to Amazon MP3, who started offering the album at the discounted price of one-dollar-and-99 cents last week. Sixty-four thousand of the 95-thousand copies sold were downloads.

Mars has had a string of number one singles on the Hot 100, including "Grenade," "Just The Way You Are," and most recently, "Locked Out of Heaven," but a number one album is a first for him.  His debut Doo-Wops & Hooligans peaked at number three.

Last week's number one album Mumford & Sons' Babel is coming off its post-Grammys bump this week, falling to number three.
